“You can't go wrong with several varieties of cookie, fudge brownies, ice cream and toppings, and the popularity of this place and the efficiency with which they deal with the line out the door. All of thus makes it an easy 5 star. I had a COMBO. That's a brownie on bottom and a cookie on top and a huge scoop between 'em. Cookie was blueberries and cream and ice cream was seasonal cinnamon something or other. Worth the price they charge and my family loves me that much more for bringing them along during our vacation in PB.”

“Great customer service. My husband and I bought cruiser bikes and they helped us quickly. My husband changed the handlebars for his bike and they painted the handlebar right on the spot. It took under an hour to get our accessories mounted and ready to go. We came back after our bike ride by the beach to buy new seats. They took the trade in value of the originals and deducted the price off of our new seats. Awesome place and awesome service. This will be our go to spot for our bike needs.”

“Stopped by BM in PB for the first time ever last Friday evening. Not crowded at all, staff were really nice, and the store was well organized. They have a lot of cute crop tops, skirts and dresses! Prices are reasonable. Clothing sizes are One Size for the most part but if you are XXS to M you should be fine since most things are stretchy. As someone who has been essentially vanity-sized out of conventional clothing stores, I’m very grateful to have BM around as an option!”

“Got to give this person 5 stars for being the most hidden surf shop ever. I have lived here in PB almost my whole life and would never believe that this is a store. I still think if I walk up to the place some old lady is going to yell at me to get off her property. Haha”

“I love their selection and clothing. Everything is amazing quality. BUT, it is way too overpriced, I played like $30 for a t-shirt that I could have found elsewhere for half that much.”

“I was there yesterday and I was so surprised because I thought it is small store but I found there are really a lot of selections much better than fancy big store. I enjoyed there a lot”

“This spot is run by ‘real’ coffee people and they are really nice! Tucked away spot just off boardwalk on Pacific Beach. It’s small but homey and comfortable. Inside and outside seating. Primarily serves coffee, espresso drinks and teas but they do have a couple pastry / croissants. Nice place to grab a cup and go or sit in comfy couch and read magazine, paper or play games.”

“We rented two wetsuits here. Originally we had the rental for a day, but we had so much fun in the water I called to see if we could extend the rental. The owner was really nice and let us keep the wetsuits for a few more nights at a really great price. This is the second time we have rented wetsuits here and have never had an issue. I also bought a really comfortable sweatshirt here at a decent price. I love it and wear it all the time now.”

“Deciding to take lessons with Surfer girls was one of the best decisions I made all year! For years I have been dreaming about learning how to surf but was always nervous about actually getting out there. I signed up for one group lesson to try it out and had a blast! Mike had me riding waves by the end of my first lesson.... And now I am addicted;)) I ended up signing up for 4 more lessons. After 4 lessons I felt confident to go out surfing with my friends! The best thing about Surfer girls are their positive vibes and constructive feedback. I have taught people how to ski and am an art teacher so I am pretty sensitive to how teachers teach whether it's in a classroom, on a mountain, or in the ocean. All of the instructors at Surfer Girls are patient and very positive. They keep the group lessons to 3 students per instructor so that each student gets individualized attention. Finally, these guys prepare you by teaching you all of the safety and surf etiquette you need to know so that you feel confident and comfortable to go out on your own (I would recommend taking a few lessons first!). My first time going out with friends I was nervous but once I got in the water it was so great to realize that I knew exactly what I was doing! Next summer I plan on taking 1 or 2 individual lessons so that I can keep improving. In short, if you want to surf, surf with Surfer girls surf school. -Tim”

“My 9 year old son has been asking about going fishing. I haven't fished in 20 years, and it had been 25 since I last fished off a pier. After asking a friend, and looking around, we decided that this placed sounded like the best place to go to first. We arrived and were greeted by a lady named Pam. She got us set up, pole, bait, bucket, pliers towel, and a super sharp knife. We paid $15.00 for 2 hours, and Pam gave us some basic instructions and tips on fishing at the pier. Today was rather windy, and my line got snagged on the pier. I was rather nervous letting Pam know, but she was very kind, and gave us a new pole to use, while she put on a new hook. 2 hours, no fish, we returned the pole, but we had a great time. Pam was nice enough to give my son a coupe of parting gifts, which helped, as he was very disappointed that we didn't catch anything, so I sincerely appreciated that. I highly recommend this to folks like myself who don't have any fishing equipment, and even more to folks visiting out of town. It's a lovely spot, and the staff where knowledgable, and kind. We look forward to returning soon!”

“looking for a bedroom set, sofa, love seat, dinning set and more? This is the place for you. We bought our bedroom set here years back, and its still in great condition. Came here today and found the perfect bed frame and mattress for us. The only prob we had was they didnt have the color of the frame that we like. Thats the only thing they should improve i guess, have more options to choose from.”

“I love this place if I want to get a quick sandwich or wrap. The atmosphere inside is nice. The staff is always helpful and friendly when it comes to choosing a meal. Their desserts and sweets are good. Wish they were dog friendly. Not everyone wants to leave their dog outside. Other than that great place.”
