“They opened this branch not all that long ago -2016?- & thrilling to first see it here, I was on the road all the time from OC thru SD County. As a member for 20 years in Costa Mesa and Irvine, I first knew this (truly awesome) Federal Credit Union as "Orange County Teachers FCU". At the start of this branch they were a godsend for small but important banking needs, ones that couldn't wait for OC or a commute to their other branches many miles away. A great location for such members. The reception kiosk at the entrance has very friendly and capable reps, and Daniel stands out as very skilled. All of them are just great, in fact. In our work, venues and routes have just now changed and it's unlikely we'll be passing through this branch again during business times, but the outside ATM is always very handy after hours, not nearly enough yet in SD County. In leaving town before it slips my mind I wanted to post a glowing review and small thanks for so many nice turns and favors, since one is well-deserved at this branch. Here's hoping the O'Side office continues to grow apace along with their outstanding credit union -my favorite- and with yet another fine branch to its "credit".... There should be more than five stars as an option but we'll just have to stick with that until Google comes up with some upgrades! ~~~~ Not yet an upgrade, but update: late "May of Coronapalooza" 2020~ Closure of most business, if not almost the entire planet (?!) --- has put the opening of nearer and more "convenient" FCU branches on hold. I had emailed the FCU about the projected opening of a San Diego branch, which had been a welcome heads up, I was replied that it's soon but not yet a fixed date. That was New Year's. But since then?! Hold on to your hat, the world's been turned upside down, since my Lakers beat the Clippers March 8. Then NBA suspended the season, the Governor suspended the State, and most of the world was put on the "pause" button!? But I digress. Our own business of the past 5 years was suspended for the entire season, anyway, so a San Diego branch opening is now a moot point altogether. Whenever. The global panic pandemic drew most of us back to OC, & myself with it for some while, SD is now off limits. Moot point or not, it has done little enough to dull your standard garden-variety "conspiracy theory". Right? The lead epidemiologist in England, who said this virus might take millions of lives in his country, was forced to resign last night for violating his own lockdown orders, caught having his "married lover" at his flat (!). He had had a mild case of this dread flu recently & his excuse last night was, "I thought I already had an immunity." Wow. Just HIS "errors in judgement" -as "Professor Lockdown" put it- are affecting even all our FCUs, & all else! ~~£4£&$4$+my2¢ "Coincidence or Conspiracy? We report, you decide!" (Meanwhile, I originally posted the review, above the line, a month before the post by Mr. Carlos Martinez. (It updates each time it's edited.) I'm trying to guess how his got nearly 500 views, and mine got 30? All the others, before those, even those without comments, had comparable numbers of views as his. 1000s or more. How could one of mine then only get five or ten percent of those? Aren't same? Google tracks those numbers. It almost defies scientific explanation, absent a hack by a 3rd party? Exterior manipulation? (Certainly no personnel in-house would do that.) Russians?! LOL. I have never seen such a thing before at Google reviews, or anywhere else. So for that reason alone, and of course in the interests of member security, I thought it should be pointed out for closer scrutiny. (By either staff or, possibly, credit union membership.) So I post that here. Well, with Covid the star of our season, it drops off the chart for now. But my issue is: "exterior manipulation". "3rd party"? Whatever caused it, that deserves mention. I had a mind to find out why that anomaly, since this FCU in my twenty years shines (almost) always. Any guesses? It's still a mystery. Stay tuned.”

“Loved visiting this place, it had a welcoming vibe to it. There’s a variety of drinks and games available to play. Bartender was friendly. My partner and I did two flights of beer and we also played a couple of card games. The owner must be really creative. There is a huge Lite Brite and other cool things. There were some young children running around and screaming when we first arrived but other than that it was great.”

“My trainer and I consider acupuncture by Ann-Marie/Del Dios Veterinary Acupuncture to be one of the best wellness tools in our toolbox. We train hard, but with Ann-Marie's regular sessions, we've been able to head off injury and keep Miss Piggy happy in her work. Acupuncture + good training + modern medicine = healthy/happy horse -- and that makes for an even happier owner.”

“I had to repair my copy machine. I went to several places in San Diego and Barry was the only person I could trust my very expensive machine with. Barry took his time to educate me about my copy machine, what went wrong and how to maintain it properly so I would never have to worry about big breakdowns in the future again. If you need any kind of service or sale for copy machines, Barry is the man!!!”

“Definitely recommend Yellow Glove. They've been great and we've used their services for the last few years once a month. They do a great thorough job and are fast. Heck the only reason we are no longer using them is we are moving out of state. If they offer their services in AZ, we'll sign up right away.”

“Came out the next day, super friendly, excellent job, very clean and good preparation. 100% recommend again, and a price you just can't beat. I wish I had more tubs to reglaze! But he's right, the fumes are pretty obnoxious, but they go away after a day or so. Just plan for that and you'll be good.”

“Great service and master at his craft. I would defiantly recommend mark to anyone looking for custom fabrication. I cracked a mount on my aluminum dirt bike frame and wasn’t sure if it could be repaired. Mark had now issues fixing the bike and when he was done the bike looked good as new. He was also extremely fair with his pricing and fixed the bike in just a couple of hours.”

“IYKYK for people that grew up in San Diego seeing a Roberto‘s taco shop is like seeing McDonald’s for the first time in a long time. The flavors are exactly as I expect them to be all the time and these are the quintessential traditional, southern California taco shop experience. Highly recommend grabbing a taco and then heading only a few blocks down the street for some epic sunset views.”
