Even on a hot day, the AC was more than competent. Coffee was available but not particularly tasty. “I love Botanic Gardens! Came here with my friend and husband (they both love plants and I like flowers) to explore. Admission is $18 which I found pretty high. I would think for that amount, there should be a bigger parking lot (we found parking on the side street, not even in the lot). The garden is huge though and we spent 2 hours exploring. There weren't any water fountains (that we saw) and I was dying of thirst after walking so much and emptied out our water bottle! The greenhouse had really cool plants like the corpse plant and a helpful and creative display of how to care for your plants and visual examples of them. I have to say, the gift shop was a little disappointing and didn't have too much stuff. They definitely sell a lot of plants though. On our exploration of the gardens, it is easy to get lost and miss lots of things cause there is so much to see! From a blue lined lizard to the real tree house with a great view and lots of different fruit and flower trees! Admission price is high but I will say there is plenty to see and walk around. It definitely helps to bring a hat or umbrella.”

“It's definitely not an understatement to say this place has not only changed my life, but has given me my life back. I had COVID in January and have had long-haul health problems ever since. I had severe pressure in my head, massive phlegm build up in my head and sinuses, extreme post-nasal drip, headaches, eye strain, blood vessel/nerve damage in the head, dizziness, and fatigue. On top of that, I was in a car accident. I've been doing sessions twice a week for a little over 2 months now and I can't believe the progress that's been made. The majority of my sessions have been with Dr. Rens and she's very attentive, kind (you'll always get a warm welcome and a few laughs :), genuinely thoughtful, and extremely skilled. She's always looked at the whole picture with my issues and the additional suggestions she made for me (stretches, different adjustment techniques for the back etc.) made all the difference. She's really great about educating you on what's causing XYZ and how things are connected in the body. All of my adjustments feel smooth as butter while also being invigorating enough to act as a deep tissue massage (in the areas I need it - my upper shoulder muscles). I went to Dr. Eyesun and Dr. Dr. Dickson a few times in the beginning of my treatment as well and they were both equally skilled and helpful. Overall, everyone in the office is extremely friendly, and I always appreciate how safe they are with COVID and all the things they do to keep everything sanitary. It's allowed me to feel relaxed and safe each time I go. I look forward to more visits (and more healing!) :)”

It's in a great area, close to the freeway (but you can't hear it) close to plenty of stores and less than 15 minutes from the beach! The whole staff from office to maintenance were great the whole time we were there. Always very quick to respond to any needs or questions we had. We definitely would've stayed longer but after have a newborn we wanted to be closer to family. Thank you Sofi team!!”

They expanded the taps and have a huge selection of beers. The wine is still a great option, and everyone loves the mixed drinks, particularly the cucumber basil. The steaks are excellent. They are famous for their loaded tots, Greek tots, and Buffalo chicken tots. The tots are hot. Skip the fries, go for tots! I promise you won't be disappointed.”
