I loved the fireplace and the view of the pool. The food was good but I’ve had better. It was more of the experience more than anything. “I used to hold weekly church services, on Sunday afternoons, for those who wished to participate. Although I did not have a loved one being cared for here, I was pleased to return weekly. The facilities were welcoming, they appeared as if you entered a hotel lobby. Once they took you into the protected area it resembled a sort of well organized rec room. There was no "smell" or people in corners forgotten. Families were visiting, others were interacting with staff. Everyone was dresses with shoes on. I have to say because family members were allowed to attend the service and be in the room, I was taken in by some of the residents. Being dressed and well groomed I did not know I was speaking with a resident, and not a new visitor. One of the nurses would kindly walk over to me and in passing whisper that I was speaking to a resident. Have no worries, your loved one will be well cared for here.”
