They have the best carnitas tacos in East County (crisped but not dry pork) and the fish (crispy golden battered) tacos are pretty tasty with a cold Corona or Dr. Pepper. The beer and soda comes ice cold out the bucket. Basket of tortilla chips, sliced carrots and cucumber from the salsa bar. Very good cheap eats. Clean dining area and restroom. Always good service here.”

“Karen has been my hair stylist for the past 5 years and is the best around. I always get what I ask for (usually bring pictures for clarity) and wouldn't go anywhere else! She has cut my hair from back when it was past my waist all the way to a short pixie last year. She has a room in the middle of Lipstick Jungle now, for the past year or so. Karen really does know hair and is highly skilled with the scissors. Plus, she is one of the sweetest people I know. ????”

“Laid back bar with barmaids who provide decent service. I go in here to practice my pool game and have a Corona and Lime. There are two tables and the one nearest the door is slanted and both are crowded by machines. Decent cue selection and tables are clean. They have karaoke night, and it was actually really good the one night I happened to see it. Clean bar and restrooms, friendly locals. No kitchen.”

“Ordered some cupcakes for my Mom's Memorial Service recently, and Kim took wonderful care of us. She was very communicative during the ordering process up through delivery. We ordered the chocolate/chocolate and vanilla/vanilla cupcakes with little red roses on top. They were scrumptious, evident by the fact there were no cupcakes left at the end of our reception.
