“I went for a weekend lunch recently and when they had a special deal with 50% off of certain rolls. This was apparently a promotional deal by the new management. I tried several rolls including the Hamachi Lover roll, Mucho Spicy roll, and Deluxe Eel roll. Overall, the menu contains quite a lot of spicy flavored rolls (almost half of their tempura and fresh roll menus) and these usually include jalapenos or spicy mayo sauce. Overall, there was a good number of rolls on the menu but the variety in terms of ingredients was quite limited. I saw jalapenos, cucumber, tuna and spicy mayo show up on over a third of the rolls in the tempura and fresh roll menu sections. But this may have been only for the rolls on special 50% off menu. The rolls themselves were decent and not too spicy, but tasted very similar because of having same types of ingredients.”

“I was SO HAPPY to find this place!! I used one of this type of car wash in Arizona and I’ve been searching for one in San Diego area ever since. I love this style, where is has the convenience of a drive in, WITHOUT the damage to your paint by those machines. Good, old fashioned way by HAND!!! It was a bit pricey for me, but only because I chose to do the full on treatment: wax/buff, inside detail and out, plus some buffing for some scratches I had down the side. It was more than I wanted to spend, but the end result I think was WORTH IT! I will DEFINITELY be coming back REGULARLY. It’s a lot cheaper than hiring a mobile detailing service, but still very effective!!!”

“The man who works the drive thru overnight is very pleasant and friendly. He is fast and efficient, and makes the effort to verify the items ordered are what was actually desired. I am very glad they are open and close by my workplace - I work overnights and there are precious few choices open late/24 hours. There is a Santana's Mexican food restaurant across the street from the Jack In The Box - and there is a neon sign in the window that indicates the drive thru is open 24 hours, but this is not the case. Without the Jack In The Box, choices would be limited to snacks or road trip stuff from the Arco AM PM or the Circle K convenience store at the Mobil station.”
