“I'd never heard of Gelsons but made a quick stop here before going to the fair. It was very likeable. Clean and big store. At the time I went, it wasn't busy at all. Looking at the other pictures I wish I had more time to look around the store. Staff was friendly and in a good mood, the overall ambiance was light and agreeable. I'd love to go back at some point in time to try their deli sandwiches and look at their produce section.”

“HEALTHY PLANTS ! We moved to the coast in Solana Beach over 4 years ago and this garden center is less than a 2 minute drive down the road. I think we have been in here once before and today it was the 2nd time for me. After scouting the nearest Home Depot and Lowe's Home Improvement stores a good 30 minute drive away for a healthy succulent or leafy indoor type plant for a pot stand near our shaded front door I found nothing but uncared for plants at ransom prices. I know that Armstrongs are a bit on the pricier side but within 5 minutes I found a great variety of healthy looking well loved leafy indoor type plants to choose from. I chose one and paid for it and left. The plant looks great too !”
