    It's a gem of a park. They have a nice little dog play area. The path can connect to India Basin Park, with a cool history of the area along the path describing it from the late 1800s to now. Good place to see shorebirds. Also close to Bay Natives nursery. I hope the park doesn't get discovered by more people. Super nice and chill.

    Little spot for potties and to stretch the legs, love being on the bay and the beautiful fowl & birding with my dog.

    I love riding my bike out here. The people seem to be in good spirits and the location is great for pictures and to get away from some of the madness of the city. They have remodeled quite a bit of the area and it looks great.

    It's a very small park, but has really nice views. There's 2 trails, both on the water and both dog friendly. The way there is a bit hidden, and I've never seen more than 20 people at a time there which is pretty cool. It's a great park to go on a walk on, but I wouldn't take kids who like to run around and explore, as the whole path is above slippery rocks that lead straight into the bay, and the on the other side (whole middle part of park) is closed off as it's a marshland

Heron's Head Park was born in the early 1970s, when the Port began filling the bay to construct what was to be the Pier 98 shipping terminal. The terminal construction never materialized, and the peninsula remained undeveloped.
