(September 1, 2018, 11:24 am)For photographers and 'tourist with phone cameras'. On a weekend it is best to get to this parking lot in the morning before 8am. One, there is hardly anyone in it, which allows you to get to the edge closest to the water for some beautiful photographs of the Oakland bridge and beyond.
There's monitoring guard or meter agent. So you can scoot in and out of the lot without paying, if you don't stay too long. I got these shots in the morning when a drone agent was there and caught these gorgeous shots. -

Large parking lot near Bay Bridge. It gets full during events and during the day. Arrive early for best parking.
