    This world-class Teegarden is a great place to go as a respite from the city of San Francisco. It is located in Golden Gate Park, smack dab in the middle of the city. It is interesting to enjoy the various pagodas and other Japanese style buildings. Of course, it's also nice to see the variety of plant life available. Although it is fun to take pictures here, also take the time to sit on one of the benches and soak in the atmosphere.

    A very San Francisco historical site visited by many tourists from all over the world including us Natives and locals who just can't get enough of the amazing Gardens from one corner to the other! Well worth the trip and the price! You cannot visit Golden Gate Park without coming to the Japanese Tea Gardens! The pride of the city! Make every effort to bring family and friends!

    Absolutely beautiful! Worth it to go for sure. We went when it was cold (June) and a little wet out but it was still amazing to see. They have a cute little store where you can buy stuff and a place to have tea also.

    Amazing beautiful place. Dispute paying a fee to enter, which we were not expecting. I feel it was worth it.
    Although the weather wasn't great, the gardens and featured examples of Japanese cultured art and garden features were the perfect setting to unwind after taking in the busy San Francisco city.
    The small but providing a awesome selection of fresh teas and other treats that we couldn't resist. All at a reasonable price with a fantastic staff serving.
