(December 12, 2018, 10:34 am)The Dutch Windmill is a very beautiful area. You can go there and chill out enjoying all the colors of the flower garden. I would give it 5 stars if it wasnt in such a busy area of the park. Near by you can get a bite to eat at the Park Chalet restarant. The smell of the food makes my mouth water everytime I am near it. The garden is a romantic place where someone can take their loved one for an old fasion picnic. Ive wintessed numerous people getting married there and some had a rather large number of guests. There are other locations close by to enjoy yourself as well.
(November 12, 2018, 2:05 pm)I would not call it a "botanical garden" since it is just flower beds. The main detail there is a windmill. Tulips are great though.
(August 8, 2018, 5:56 pm)Located in northwestern corner of Golden Gate Park is it a small garden.and garden in memory of a Dutch royal fondly called Queen Willy by locals????. Flowers and plants landscaping provides beauty that it's rented for special occasions. Tulips in early springs is the best show.
(December 26, 2017, 3:56 pm)What a great place to sit quietly and enjoy the Tulips. I often bring my dog here and play Pokemon go. It's really a nice relaxing place and you should bring all your friends from out of town to see this. If you are from San Francisco get out and visit this more often. If you are not from here this is definitely a nice place to sit quietly and just enjoy this beautiful garden.
