My 14-year-old daughter did 4 summer camps from Celsius and Beyond and has enjoyed each one. It's a great balance of fun and academic enrichment. It's also nice that they introduce new subject areas every summer, so there is always something new to try. I don't know of any other science camps that have figured out such creative ways to let kids get hands on experience in so many diverse areas in technology, biology, environmental studies and even film making.

Our twin daughters, now 12, have gone to several sessions at Celsius and Beyond for the past several summers. They have enjoyed a range of activities, from making their own insect collections, to dissecting frogs, to learning about the human brain, and assaying the water in San Francisco ponds. They have brought home treasures including vials of strawberry DNA, posters about the genetics of human taste, and boxes and brooches they made in the metal working class. They have had fun at their sessions, and keep talking about their projects and friendships throughout the year. Auritte and Jonathan have made learning exciting and pleasurable. Their school teachers have remarked with surprise that our girls are not only doing well in science classes, but seem to be enjoying it too.

My niece has been asking for a camp to learn more about human anatomy so I felt very lucky to find the Surgery camp at Celsius. It was “one of the best weeks ever” (her words). She loved it. Serious and comprehensive. The instructor didn't treat her like a child, but rather like a student with a passion. Thank you so much for having the commitment to do this. We will be back for more of your life science camps!

Our two daughters have been joining summer camps at Celsius and Beyond since five years now. Like the other years, this year “Celsius and Beyond” is on top of the list of their favorite camps. From dissecting sharks to creating amazing catapults, they always come home super enthusiastic about their day and ready to share their incredible discoveries & inventions. Auritte, the camp director is fantastic. She assembles outstanding programs with a perfect balance between learning and playing. Each camp focuses on a very contemporary scientific question and is lead by staff with highly relevant scientific background. So, we love the very nurturing environment of Celsius and Beyond, the spirit of the camp, and the amazing staff.
Thank you, Celsius and Beyond, for giving our daughters the excitement of discovering and encouraging their curiosity.

Our daughters really enjoyed the Celsius and Beyond camps. I wanted my girls to do some science camps and did a lot of research on this. I looked at different organizations, but chose Celsius because of the subjects that they offered and because these camps were recommended to me by two families of our school. We have not been disappointed. Because of the Celsius camps, my daughters became interested in science (especially my youngest one who had shown no interest before). The camps are fun, but the children still learn a lot. This became obvious especially during our dinner table conversations while at camp, throughout the year in their continued interest in science and in the knowledge that they gained. I can therefore highly recommend these camps.
