(December 12, 2019, 10:59 pm)Fort Mason Park is an oasis of greenery and grass lawns, great views of San Francisco, and a great place to see the San Francisco Bay with views of the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s bordered by huge pine trees and is an easy walk to Fisherman’s Wharf, and even walkable to more central parts of the city. It’s a national park in actuality and there is also a hostel located right on the park grounds with a fair amount of parking available.

(October 13, 2018, 11:00 pm)Awesome place to hang out on a nice day. The park services maintain a whole compound of historic buildings and gardens, most of which are open to the public. I understand that some of these houses are also available for rental. This is one of the green gems of the city.
