  Looking for a reliable, well-run sailing tour company to take a group out to sail around the San Francisco Bay? The San Francisco Sailing Company is it. I have used this company two years in a row for a private charter excursion. Both times my party had a great time, with some attendees of the first year wanting to sail again this year. The largest sailboat, Santa Maria, has a capacity of 36 passengers with a captain and a first mate.
  
  With a $50/pp ticket, you get two drinks (beer, soda, or bottled water) served during the 90 minute Sail (start from Pier 39, sail towards the GG Bridge, see the Marin Headlands /Sausalito from a distance, Alcatraz, Angel Island, and the SF skyline). Very relaxing. The 90 minutes goes by very quickly.
  
  Both office staff and the sail crew are easy to work with, efficient, responsive. I highly recommend in a heartbeat using this company if you are looking to sail. They are also willing to custom tailor a sail tour if you are planning to have a private charter and will sail any of the 7 days in a week.

  Wonderful sailing at the bay.
  It starts from the Pier 39 on time and take us near the Golden Gate Bridge, run parallel with it and then comeback passing the Alcatraz Island before ending the sail. The total duration of the sail is 90 minutes.
  Our Captain and his staff were friendly and entertaining. Complimentary drinks were given on the boat(beer or coke). It was a smooth sail.
  We had a large group of 30 sailing together and it was fun and filled with excitement.
  Advanced booking is available online which is very convenient.
  Come and try this adventure.

  Greeted from Dock F at Pier 39 our party was made welcome by the 1st mate of the boat. We filed down the dock onto the boat and were seated for the ride. The captain explains how to behave on the boat, where you can and cannot sit and that drinks are available along with a marine toilet that he painstakingly explains its use. The tour price includes a sail around the bay circumnavigating Alcatraz Island and where weather permits visiting the Golden Gate bridge. The 1st mate along with looking after the sails and rigging for the captain serves drinks. They have various American beers, wines and soft drinks. The tour price includes two drinks of your choice. The tour is not accessible. #LetsGuide

  Incredibly relaxing and fun experience that is definitely worth the money. The captain and his first mate/bartender we're incredibly courteous and knowledgeable and assured our group had a great time. The sailboat is beautiful and spacious and provides a great ride. Tour took us really close to Alcatraz as well and provides a ton of photo opportunities.

  Wow! What an amazing experience! I was a little reluctant being a passenger in a small boat that looked like could easily capsize but, it turned out to be a gorgeous and pristine tour of the Bay Area.
  
  If you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate a special occasion, hang out with your friends or have a simple and fun little family get-together, I would definitely recommend The San Francisco Sailing Company.
