My son had a wonderful experience at SF Speech for Kids with Jacquelyn Giglio. He saw Jacquelyn for a few months to improve his speech and work on several sounds that he could not articulate well. Jacquelyn was extremely professional, kind, patient and engaging. I never thought that therapy could be even better on zoom than in-person! Jacquelyn made it so fun and interactive that my son saw his speech therapy sessions as playdates with her. After a few months, he overcame his speech challenges and I appreciated that Jacquelyn made sure that he was also at level with comprehension. My son has now graduated from Ms. Jacquelyn and no one would ever know that he ever had speech issues!! Thank you Ms. Jacquelyn!!

We are very thankful to Kim and all our therapists, who have given our 2-year old son the help he needed so much.
We couldn’t be happier with his progress! When we started going to SF Speech for Kids, he had less than 5 real words and after just 5 months of therapy, he has 150-200 words and uses 2-3 word phrases all the time. We couldn’t imagine it could be possible, the best we could hope for in such a short period of time was around 10-15 words, but he has exceeded our expectations 🙂 Most importantly, he has gained the skill to learn words all by himself and surprises us daily with his new vocabulary. All this would not be possible without the effort, love and caring from Ryanne, Alessa, Cady and Vanessa, who made sessions so much fun for our son that he found his 40-minute sessions too short and was always sad to leave 🙂

Thank you again for everything and wish you all the best!

My son started speech therapy a little over 2 years ago when he was 3. I was so concerned. He started preschool at 2 and a half and started to lose eye contact. He was a very happy interactive toddler and now he was becoming more withdrawn. He was speaking little and had trouble with pragmatic of speech. Any evaluation the insurance offered had a long waiting list. I emailed Kim and she offered help right away. The first few sessions my son said nothing. Kim put so much effort and used many different techniques. She also would give me ideas of what i could work on with him at home. I was afraid my son would never speak. Eventually he was diagnosed with Autism. Kim continued to work with him and made it fun. Fast forward to today, my son tells me incredible stories, he has a great memory, superb imagination and a good sence of humor. He makes new friends easily. Kim gave our family a wonderful gift! The gift so many parents take for granted. The gift of conversation, the gift of laughter and deep understanding. I love hearing his voice. He was lock inside and now he can express himself and we get to know him. Oh and I forgot to mention we also have a little girl who was just few months old when we started at Kim's. She came to the appointments with us because I couldnt leave her home. Kim always included her too. She started to speak in sentences at 18 months. She is not even 3 years and she has rich vocabulary and speaks in 8 and 10 word sentences. I give credit to Kim for that as well!

Wonderful service, dedicated, supportive, kind, knowledgeable, understanding speech-language pathologists! I have two kids who need speech therapy - one is profoundly deaf with bilateral cochlear implants toddler and another is eleven year old with a different set of problems and needs. I’ve been coming to SF speech for kids for almost three years with consistent results and steady improvement in my stubborn and not always willing to cooperate child. Kat, Adrienne, and Kim are willing to go extra mile and find a way to engage and make session fun and exciting. Sometimes my kid has a bad day but never bad speech therapy. I spent a lot of time in the waiting area of the office and always feel welcome and have a detailed report on my child progress during the session and kind words of encouragement and support.
I am very fortunate to find SF speech for kids and look forward to see Kat, Adrienne, and Kim every week.
