  A rare treasure and the only place in San Francisco for proper lingerie. Charming and exquisitely curated, and the owner won’t let you leave with things that are wrong for you. Go and buy lots of things because I need this place to stay in business!

  One of the three lingerie ateliers I patronize in the City, this is the only supplier of silk hosiery I know of. It makes all the difference. Oh, and you can practice your French with the staff!

  Beautiful, well made french lingerie. Not Victoria's Secret. Very knowledgeable staff, warm and patient. Wide selection of merchandise. I have been going for almost 10 years. Sophie is the owner and her staff is as committed to customer service as she is.

  I became a fan of Les Cent Culottes four years ago. Living on Polk Street, I had passed the storefront many times but for some reason never really went in. When I finally made my first visit, I was hooked.
  
  I actually came in first to get a personalized bra fitting: I had terrible/unhelpful experiences at department stores and hoped that a local neighborhood store would be a better. I wasn't wrong: the women that work at the store are very experienced and well-versed in all things under garments. Finally, after years, I'm buying stuff that fits!!
  
  Their Polk Street store is stocked full of delightful lingerie and bras, ranging from the basic daily wear to your more luxurious/fanciful/flirty pieces. Do know that the bras you find here will cost you more than Target or Macy's: Les Cent Culottes specializes in high-quality French and European brands. I think the least expensive full-priced bra is around $70. However, these are great bras that fit fantastically and, when taken care of, will last you a very long time.
  
  There is always a rack or two of items on sale, where you can find items 20-60% off. Twice a year, they have a more expanded sale (one of the times is, appropriately, Bastille Day weekend in July!)
  
  I sort of love and hate Les Cent Culottes for spoiling me: I happily spend more money on nicer bras now and can't really imagine buying cheap-o bras anymore. I love the personal, friendly service you get in the store: no more department stores for me!
