  A nice family friendly & dog friendly beach with a beautiful view over the Golden Gate bridge and far less wind compared to Ocean Beach. Bring your beach mat, some drinks & food and enjoy a great picnic. It is usually not too crowded so you don't have to worry about arriving early. The sand was quite clean except for 1 dead bird today.

  The perfect place to walk your pet or just take a walk. Nice view of the Golden Gate Bridge, except when is foggy. But if you want to walk here at night is not a good idea because the lack of illumination.

  Clean and comfortable. Very windy there. A light jacket comes in handy. Exiting the parking lot can be a challenge with a hord of bicyclists every few seconds.

  Very nice place to chill and enjoy the views of the sea, boats, planes, kites, and the Golden Gate bridge. It is very peaceful here. You will have a great time especially with your dog or your partner. Be careful though, sometimes it is too windy and cold so wear multille layers before you come.

  The Best! Even when it's not sunny, this beach and the entire environment is an excellent place in San Francisco. Love the warming hut as well. The beach and little lagoons are perfect for playing and you always see someone you know, we walking their dogs... Makes Sn Francisco feel like a small town again.
