  Felt like I was eating food from my mom and late grandmother. I was staying near the area and wanted an early breakfast. This place was open at 7am and I'm glad Google lead me to it. Tosilog and Embotido hit the spot and kept me full for majority of the day! Come here. The prices are diff good (esp for being in the city). Filipino Comfort Food at its finest.

  Came here with my family twice.. we were just visiting San Francisco.. we ordered the tocinolog, ginilog, some sisig and turon and veggie lumpia absolutely delicious masarap! There's also free soup I guess. the ladies and the guy who works there are nice and friendly! I wish I could go back there! And FYI only cash so bring a lot of cash!

  Delicious slow stewed pork as succulent as it should be. Great flavors. Yummy veggies. Friendly staff, hole-in-the-wall atmosphere.

  This is one of my (if not my absolute) favourite filipino restaurants in SF. I came across it pretty much by accident when I was looking for filipino food, not having heard of it beforel It's located in TL which isn't the greatest, but it's not a deal breaker (plus, if the location was really an issue for you, they're available on some food delivery platforms). Upon entering, it already felt "familiar" in a way that other filipino restaurants in SF didn't. It felt homey and the staff were friendly and kinda reminded me of my aunties; they were helpful too, especially when they (probably) saw the overwhelmed look on my and my bf's faces when seeing the lengthy menu. Eventually (and multiple times since that first visit) I settled on the tapsilog and it has become one of my favourite things to get here... that, and the lumpia. Can't argue with the classics ;) The last time I was here, I brought some of my filipina friends with me and they liked the food too, especially the lechon. A+

  Lovely filipino cuisine food.
  Benignit..dinaguan..sisig..pancit..halo halo.
  Smells wonderful inside.
  The workers were nice. Our family dined in, but everytime that front door swung open... A brief rush of piss odor hit us while eating..
