  John's method of teaching kiteboarding is really safe & effective, he's an excellent instructor as well. He's very knowledgeable, articulate and patient. If I had it to do over again, I'd have taken all my lessons from him. Highly recommended!

  John is awesome! We had an excellent time learning to kiteboard out on the bay in such a unique way on his boat with radio helmets to aid with instructions. We started with learning how to pilot off the kite off the back of the boat and then how to make strokes with the kite to generate power. Then we each hopped in the water to get comfortable with the kite and do some body drags. Then we got to try with the actual board. Difficult in the water, but super rewarding sport. I would recommend John to anyone seeking lessons!

  This guy is fantastic! Awesome instruction from the helmet radio, he really gave me some insight pointers. If you're thinking about taking lessons do it with John, no question!

  Really good experience with John. Was able to fly a full size kite from the boat and able to ride on my first lesson next to Alcatraz!
