My husband and I were for the first time in SF, and we don’t like tours, but I was curious since this activity was walking and a few blocks from our hotel. We are Spanish native’s speakers, and we selected the English tour, since we really wanted to practice our English. Our guide, when he asked everyone where they were from, was very interested. But when we told him my husband is from Honduras, and I am Mexican, he changed his interest, he was very fast on us. It was awkward. The same guide suggested we take the tour in Spanish, and I am glad we did. It was the best tour ever. José was excellent. Prepared with interest jokes and suggestions. I have to say that this tour changed from being the not so good to the best experience in SF. I don’t usually write reviews, but hope someone finds this useful. Take the tour in Spanish!!!!
I really enjoyed this tour and learned a lot! Filip was a great guide and was very knowledgeable about the history, diversity and the many cultures that contribute to this beautiful city. Filip is also an invaluable resource if you want to know more about the city! I particularly enjoyed learning about Chinatown and it was nice to stop by the fortune cookie shop on the tour. I highly recommend the tour to everyone!
Had an amazing free walking tour starting at Union Square in San Francisco. Our guide (Filip) was so knowledgeable and shared so many great stories - he was so prepared, and genuinely seemed to enjoy meeting everyone on the tour and showing us around the city. Highly recommend taking in a tour. And I have even booked another one for a different part of the city!
One of the best tours we have had in our travels! Aivant was amazing and a natural! Not only is he from the city, he wants to give back by educating everyone about this amazing place so it was great info! Keep up the great work!
For a free tour I literally cannot praise this enough! Our host Sara was great- very engaging and friendly, plus kept things moving at a really good pace. Enjoyed the interactive additions- such as opening our fortune cookies all together as a group. Definitely recommend this tour to learn a lot About the history of San Francisco- especially areas such as Chinatown which I would probably have just strolled through and taken a couple of photos if it wasn’t for this tour.
