I scheduled an appointment here (as a CCSF Student) and got it promptly. I was told to come 20 minutes early on the first visit to sign up and fill some forms. After that, you wait to be called.

My overall experience was very satisfactory, and I would come again for regular consultations. The hospital is small, nothing fancy, but clean and with many smiles on staff's faces. I had to wait a bit more than normal, but was very well treated and my own consultation didn't feel rushed at all, the doctor took her time to give me quality treatment and advice. I had also messed up something I needed and asked for something completely different, and instead of laughing at me or dismissing me, they said it was normal I got confused because the names were similar, and still got the treatment I needed.

    Here are the pros:
    - Very nice and people oriented. you are a patient, a person; you are not treated like a number here.
    - They went an extra mile by looking for coupons for the medicines I needed, and saved me more than $40 in just 1 medicine that they happened to have a coupon of. I did not even ask for this (I didn't know this was possible), they actively did it for me and prompted me to always ask them when getting medicine there.
    - I also needed to see a gyn for my year revision and they printed me a paper with some gyn covered by my insurance near my residence, plus they also gave me one that they said had good reviews from other students who went there. When you get referred to a gyn from them, they can waive your co-pay. Yay.
    - If you're a City college student, the obvious is that it is on campus, consultations are free (if you are a student or have the international student health insurance) with no co-pay.
    - Tip: it's funny but they had condoms there "free for grabs"

    Here are the cons:
    - It was hard to go from the 2nd floor (where there are classrooms) to the 1st one, I had to eventually exit the building and find a way from the exterior.
    - I had to wait more than usual, but it was because 1 of the doctors didn't come that day (maybe sick or day off) and there was an emergency patient who, obviously, had priority. Not a big deal though, as I was explained all this by the doctor and she did seem rushed, trying to help all patients to the best of her capacity.
