  Where to begin. The cocktails were amazing and the food was even better.
  
  At the end, I commented to my date "wow, this is one of the best places in the city, it reminds me a lot of Kin Khao, an amazing Thai restaurant downtown..." The server overheard me and noted that Nari has the same owner and chef!
  
  Nari is inside the Hotel Kabuki in Japantown, but don't let that fool you - this is no "hotel restaurant," and offers truly a unique and inspirational experience. Don't hesitate - go!
  
  FOOD - 5/5 - I started to list everything we had, but then I realized I was writing the same thing each time - 5/5, must get.. So I think the truth is everything is amazing, and there's no need for me to type out the menu (which you can find on their website). I can't wait to come back and try more. It's quite expensive, but worth it - these are dishes you'll dream about for weeks to come.
  
  COCKTAILS - 5/5 - Really delicious, inventive cocktails that use spices and flavors from Thailand. Worth it!
  
  SERVICE - 5/5 - Everything went smoothly and the staff was very friendly. We ended up spending more time upstairs in the mezzanine bar since the bartender was so friendly and we were enjoying the cocktails and snacks up there, and the restaurant was very accommodating and held our reservation downstairs.
  
  AMBIENCE - 4/5 - Nice decor, plenty of space, comfortable seating, quiet enough to talk, but lively enough for a fun night.

  Really enjoyed this meal. Everything we tried was delicious and unique! I would give between 4-5 stars overall. We sat downstairs in a curved booth so it was more private, decor was nice and service good. My favorite dish was the eggplant curry and a pomelo salad appetizer. Flavors were fantastic!

  Five stars for the decor and environment. Definitely a cool hip spot. In my humble opinion, food is too elaborate and could be simplified. Every dish we had were so original, but seemingly a little bit experimental. Very photogenic anyway. The wine list is just downright strange and very skewed on the expensive side.

  An incredible experience! The food was wonderfully balanced and the flavors never ceased to surprise and delight. Every course was on point and perfectly executed.
