“This place is so amazing especially for photo opportunities as well as just enjoying the beautiful weather. The trick is to not park at the actual welcome center but go down the hill a little bit and then take the trail down to the pier. Or drive all the way down the hill to get to the pier overall great place to go for just hanging out and the gift shop isn't enormous but decently sized and has a variety of relics.”

“Anthony was our tour guide and he was FANTASTIC.... it was an extremely hot day today and he allowed for stops to get drinks in order to stay hydrated. He was very knowledgeable of the cities history and had a personality that was out of this world. We took the same tour twice the same day with him and each time learned something new.. although we were advised this was a horrible tour company our experience was much different then what's been written time and time again!!!! Thanks again from Mr and Mrs Mimosa from Columbus, Ohio GO BUCKS!!!”

“Caring, educational and fun! Johannes is a legend in his own right. A wealth of knowledge on a wide variety of topics, fun and, remarkably considering this tour is in California, not smothering or bubble wrapping. However, that said, we had a few in our group who were nervous and he was exceptionally caring, encouraging and empowering to them. An outstanding tour. Looking forward to the next one.”

“My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our 1/2-day tour of San Francisco and Alcatraz with our tour guide Mary. This private custom tour was a great introduction to the city by the bay and was totally customized to our wishes and family needs. We really saw all of the beauty and diversity of the city. Our guide Mary deserves a 5-star rating for this trip and all the way. She was friendly, knowledgeable and a great driver. The SUV is luxurious, comfortable and soft drinks were offered. Our family had a wonderful time during the tour and highly recommend Golden Horizon travel for other customers and visitors . We would definitely request Mary on our next tour):-”

“I had a wonderful experience alongside thirteen others who were in my group tour of silicon valley and San Francisco in May 2017. Golden Horizon Tours is a well organised group. It was nice to see how promptly I got their attention and response each time I contacted them. They took their time to offer all the information required to make the best decision for my group tour. Their tour guides are very seasoned professionals and were very helpful and friendly to the point of taking photos of my group and sending to us via mail after we were long gone. I will gladly recommend those seeking the services of a tour agency to feel confident enough to engage the services of Golden Horizon Tours. They are simply the best. Ernest.”

“My Mum and I had an absolutely brilliant day in Yosemite and Leo was a perfect guide. Although we only had one day we visited many of the great Yosemite sights and our guide Leo made sure we had plenty of stops to see the beautiful mountains and waterfalls and take lots of photos. Leo was extremely knowledgeable regarding both Yosemite, the sights on the way and also San Francisco, and was always thinking of us and what we might like to do the whole day. In addition to the amazing sights, we really had a lot of fun. Amazing trip with a great travel company and great guide. My only regret was that the trip wasn’t longer in Yosemite and Sierra Nevada. Private Tours are the bets way to go indeed, and highly recommend, we enjoyed a personalized trip itinerary at our pace to suit my mum who is a slow walker at her age, this was the prefect holiday plan we had for long time. Thank you Golden Horizon Travel and Leo.”

“i had a wonderful experience with this company. I was visiting from Atlanta for my 40th birthday. My cousin flight was cancelled the day before the trip. I called and spoke with April and she told me to call viator and tell them it's okay for me to cancel her off and get my money back. The rules are you have to cancel 48 hours before pick up. I am so thankful to her. She told me it's going to be okay the people in San Francisco are nice and you will meet some people on the tour. She was so right. I did the half day wine tour to Snoma with Bill. Let me tell you Bill is awesome, and amazing and very knowledgeable. He told us some of the history of San Francisco and he took us on a small tour of the neighborhoods. He also, stopped in Sausalito so we could take pictures in front of the houseboats. If you can take a trip Bill is the man to do it with. Thank you April and Bill you two rock.”

“I've sailed with Drew and his crew at Rendezvous Charters a good dozen times over the past decade, and he's always shown us a great time, whether it's wild and wet out there, or no wind at all. There's really no such thing as a bad day on the Bay, and Rendezvous will take GREAT care of you. The crew is super personable, the boat is comfortable, and they definitely make the safety and comfort of their passengers a top priority. Pier 40 is a great place to sail out of, too--you see some of the most gorgeous scenery you'll find anywhere, sailing out under the Bay Bridge, past the San Francisco skyline, out around Alcatraz with and amazing look at the Golden Gate Bridge... it makes for a truly memorable outing.”
