“My wife got a Groupon deal for this place and it did not disappoint. This place is mainly a brewery/distillery it seems. I had and IPA and it was really tasty. They have an extensive menu of both beers/stouts as well as alcoholic pop they call Hard Frescoes. I did not sample the booze soda but one can just pop in and buy four packs of a large selection of the liquid menu items in tallboy cans. There is also food available with a largely south of the border feel. We shared a plate of tacos and some nachos which were super delicious. There was some sort of World/techno music playing which did not offend me. Big screen TVs to zone out on sports. The location is a bit out there, but it is easily accessible from the N-Judah. Because it is deep in the Sunset, street parking is probably pretty chill. I highly recommend this establishment and plan on going back for a night out very soon!”

“As the puppy training classes go, this is definitely a good place . My only other point of reference would be ASPCA which I and my older Schipperke attended and I'd recommend both places somewhat as equally good. However, Smarty Pup's training space is much smaller and a tad claustrophobic for my Schipperke's palate. Pleasant, knowledgeable staff and cleanliness are obvious and if your pup doesn't mind confined space it's a good place to start. All that said regarding very limited space the place has , there are twice as many dogs in class then ASPCA. Our current class has over a dozen pups.”

“I live next to the range, like, right next to it, about as close as you can get. Yeah it's loud, and sometimes they go suprisingly late into the night, and yeah, it's like a giant taunting reminder that I also live next to a CLOSED gun range, and that there are no longer any gun ranges at all in San Francisco city proper, except for that police gun range, right. next. door. BUT, at least all that noise means they're practising, and with all that noise they must be practising a lot, silver linings and all that, the more accurate the police are the better, in my opinion.”

“It was a nice quiet comfortable place to stay. UCSF put my wife, myself, my Sister, my Niece and her friend up for the night before my wife's Cancer Surgery. Besides being comfortable and relaxing, they even had a Hot Tub to use as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that has to stay in the City.”
