“This is a beloved neighborhood fire station; however, you may no longer stop by for a visit; you use go to the website and apply/sign up for a visit. If you are driving westerly on Geary, towards the Cliff House, you will pass this station. Important note: this Fire Station is a "Safe Surrender Site."”

“If you're kid is into fencing you know the challenges of finding a fencing club where there's a nice balance between class schedule, the quality of the coaches and price. SF Fencers' seems to have it all. I would vote it's a little pricey, but a good example of you get what you pay for. The kids working out here are fairly serious about the sport, the classes a little more in depth than most clubs, but the real difference is the coaches. Is it for everyone? Probably not. It's where you go when you're kid has decided fencing is something I really want to participate in.”

“I stumbled across this store with my girlfriend and she found a silver ring that she fell in love with. It was reasonably priced and service was fine. What was more remarkable and of note, was when a stone happened to fall out of this ring and I reached out a few months later to hopefully purchase a replacement, they just sent out a new one without any questions! I thought that was pretty impressive considering I am not a local to the area and may never even be able to visit the store again. If you're looking for some jewelry and are in the Pier 39 area, I would recommend stopping in this store - they clearly know how to do business properly.”

“My wife and I had a marvelous stay at Ocean Beach Bed and Breakfast. I'm glad I didn't read these other reviews before making reservations. If I had read one of them we might have missed this delightful B&B. The reviews on another sight were all positive. Joanne was pleasantly accommodating when we arrived late Tuesday night. It's worth the extra amount for the suite with the private bath. The queen bed was comfortable and quiet, the view perfect, and the breakfast delicious. We had the choice of cooking other items Joanne had if we wanted something other than what was on the menu. We also had kitchen privileges to prepare other meals. The suite was just what we needed for R&R after our long flight from southern France. It was handy to our friend's place and close to many good walks. I especially appreciated Joanne's suggestion to enter San Francisco from Sacramento via the Golden Gate Bridge rather than the Oakland Bay Bridge. It saved us a lot of time and helped us avoid traffic and grief. As a former resident of the Bay Area I should have remembered that. I highly recommend this B&B, and we will be back.”

“Such a cute store to walk around and browse, especially during the Christmas season! Prices are ok, but a little more than is rather pay. But that's what you get for being in a tourist spot. They have so much to choose from including SF themed ornaments, general Christmas ornaments, funny, family, wine, pets. They also carry Jim Shore and Disney figurines.”
