CFI Academy

I got my commercial and CFI certificates with CFI Academy. In this school I found a place with great people, from instructors to class mates that helped me achieve my goals and making the stay there feel like home. I highly recommend the school if you want to do an accelerated course. If you put in the work there's no way you can't pass the chechrides. They make sure you get your training. A typical day was meeting in the morning at 9 am, discussing the day's topic followed by study materials, more questions and answers, lunch break and continued after that with more study materials or flying. The rest of the day after that is you studying all study materials. The instructors are always available to you which is very nice, and they support you,

Great place to train for cfi. Prince is a great instructor with a lot of knowledge and experience who will make sure you are ready for the practical test. I like the classroom setting as it gives you chance to meet others and learn from your peers. Prince likes to bring his dogs Scooby and occasionally Maiya which makes time their a lot of fun. I failed the check ride twice but I learned from my failures and was successful. Robert Frankovich who I did my second and third attempt with is super fair and wants you to pass. Prince really goes in depth with everything area of the PTS and makes sure you are fully prepared and can use your references. If you’re willing to put in effort, do as your told, and want to learn go to cfi academy.

Best place to do your CFI training.. best instructors i have had throughout my pilot training. I'm really happy i chose this place to get my CFI. Also,really beautiful place to fly.

What a fantastic experience! After several years of starts and stops in my flight training and disappointing service from other flight schools, I was incredibly lucky to have had CFI Academy recommended to me. The quality of instruction and support I received was incredible! Having taken essentially a year and a half off from flight training, I came to the academy on a Saturday and passed my private pilot’s check ride the following Wednesday. The ability to stay at the campus was awesome, providing a wealth of knowledge from the incredible instructors, as well as from the CFI candidates themselves. It was a supportive and fun environment, and CFI Academy’s incredible reputation ensured that I had my check ride scheduled on my time line (rather than having to wait several months for a DPE’s availability). When my instructor told me I was ready for my check ride, it gave me a ton of confidence walking into my exam. While you’ll always be nervous for a check ride, when your CFI Academy instructor says you’re ready, you can be confident you are. Thank you CFI Academy, Prince, Kelvin, Kyle, and Estefan!!

Tbh I was quite nervous about going to CFI academy. The thought of spending 3 weeks with complete strangers at a place I'm unfamiliar with was a bit nerve-racking. As it turned out, my time at CFI academy was much more pleasant than I was expecting. Fadi and Prince were great, as were the other staff. Prince is without a doubt one of the most knowledgeable people I have met in regards to aviation.

The facility was also very convenient. Having two showers to split between six people meant we weren't fighting in the mornings, and the complementary coffee kept us awake.

As for the instruction, when it came time for checkrides I felt well prepared and was able to pass on my first attempt.

Pro tip: Sitting at the seat closest to the bathroom gives you special privileges. I would highly recommend.
