Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Tower Park Resort in Lodi, CA

I see people posting somewhat bad things about the campgrounds for ridiculous reasons lol..camping is NOT bad here. So many people come here everyday and enjoy it so much.
And let me be the first to say..the restaurant/bar here is separate from the campgrounds. You don't have to camp here to come enjoy the food and company. The food is great, staff are fun and amazing at what they do. Karaoke night on thirsty Thursdays! Brunch on Sundays. And can't forget prices are not bad.

I go there frequently if you couldn't tell...so take my word for it instead of some of these people commenting (I won't say all because I obviously don't know the whole story but some of these comments are hilarious), that have never been here or only been camping once that try to give the whole place a bad name for no reason.

Cons - as of right now restaurant/bar is closed Mon-Wed. But there is a store in the same building that sells whatever you need that's open everyday I believe.

*I do not work there, nor did anyone tell me to post this. I'm just thorough when I speak and I love this place so I am just shooting facts for anyone that is thinking about coming here.

Overall, our first time experience was positive. The check-in was a little hidden which I would suggest to have a bigger check-in sign. We missed it driving up and had to back track after asking a worker there. All the staff was friendly but I think since we went on a off-peak week, most of the attractions were closed (lazy River, theatre, snack shacks, gem mining). We were only able to enjoy the water tower area for one day (Tuesday). Our stay was from a Sunday-Tuesday. Didn’t see any characters walking around. My 5 year old was disappointed.

The cottage was nice and mostly clean except that the floors were filthy. We would need to bring a swiffer mop with us next time. It’s very peaceful there so it’s a good getaway. We did enjoy the pool and jacuzzi multiple times each day. Wish that the jumping pillow area had more shade for the kids since their feet were so hot even at 10am.

Would I come again? Sure, but I would want it to be more reasonably priced since the main attractions were either closed or limited days/hours.

From the moment of check in I had such an efficient and smooth process. I was guided to my site and assisted with parking as I was by myself with the kids this trip ( husband was working) and the facilities and grounds were clean and all staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. My kids enjoyed gold mining, tie dye and laser tag and of course the water park/pool and playgrounds. The new general store is awesome with tons of additional amenities. The price seems a bit steep compared to other resorts but the care of the grounds, amenities, activities and friendly staff make it worth it!
