I used them for my move when I was in college. We moved from one home in Merced to another. They packaged all of our belongings very nicely. Made sure not to scratch the hardwood floors and provided excellent customer service along the way.
The scope of my move was 4 bedroom, 3000+ sq-ft house from San Jose to San Diego county. Bill and Briana from All Star movers & Storage were great to work with. From initial estimate ( most competitive among 4 quotes) to timely communication of details ( arrival time for pick up, number of people packing- four personnel, committed on next day delivery- no other company offered such service for the same price-, dedicated truck, Number of people at destination - three personnel.
Team arrived on time on the delivery date, packed and sealed the truck, delivered the next day, unpacked and assembled the bed room sets, placed all large furniture as I asked . Since everything was well packed, no Item was damaged. I could not have asked for better service. Job well done !
This was the best moving experience I have had. The last time I moved the experience was not good and things were damaged. I was referred to All Star by another company who could not accommodate my move date. I was promptly contacted and appointment for an estimate was set up. Bill, the owner, came out and gave us a very thorough proposal. The move date was scheduled. Two days before the move the buyer of my house had a problem and the date was moved. I called Bill and he assured me that changing the date was no problem. We set the date for the next week, the deal fell completely apart and the sale and the move were subsequently cancelled. Bill again said no problem, call me when you are ready. Two months later the day finally came. I emailed Bill on a Saturday to let him know we were ready to move on Thursday. He emailed back that day and said no problem. He got everything scheduled and honored the original estimate. On moving date 6 guys showed up ready to go. The team was lead by Harp. He asked me to show him what went from each room and any special instructions. His team began to load the boxes, disassemble and wrap furniture, appliances and other stuff. They wrapped the door frames and put down runners to protect my stuff. They were done in 4 hours, an hour earlier than estimated. We met them at the new house an hour later. They quickly unloaded the trucks, putting the right items in the right rooms. They reassembled everything and made sure they worked correctly. They finished the job, including travel time and hour and a half early and adjusted the invoice accordingly. Absolutely nothing was damaged. They handled things better than my family. I would absolutely use All Star again. I could not believe how they accommodated the last minute changes.
