Woodward Community Park

It's a great family park. Two half-court basketball courts and one full basketball court. Two play areas for kids to play in and a separate field for soccer. It was my first time here and I was very impressed.

I go to the park primarily to run & walk. The park has markings every 1/10 of a mile which is great when running intervals. The distance is about 1.25 miles around the park, which I believe is the longest park walkway in Manteca. The sidewalk is wide enough for people to move freely in both directions, including strollers. The park is used regularly by the community for soccer, Zumba classes, basketball courts and a nice, centralized picnic area. I've taken my grandchildren to the playground & they've had a blast. Also, there are 6 bathrooms by the center of the park, which come in handy for all! There arw 2 good sized parking lots & parking is abundant unless they are having a big soccer or community event. The community takes pride in the park, so please help keep it clean. Enjoy!

We found Woodward park to be VERY clean?! During these Covid days cleaning is #1 concern..for the most part people wore their mask and were practicing social distancing guidelines.
All of the equipment were in good condition and NOT broken..this park has has a lot of diy activities/ age appropriate play area to choose from. Great parking that is close to the play centers!
Loved the fact that the basketball courts did not has loud music, cursing or smoking going on...great family park!

Good 1.2 mile walking path. Decent shade on north side of park.
