My husband and I have numerous indoor cats. We also take care of what I called God's cats, the feral cats that live outside in our neighborhood. They rarely let us touch them until they are very sick. Then they wait for us outside until we see them to take them to the vet. This has happened more than once. On one occasion, just a couple weeks ago, our regular vet was closed already when one of God's little cats met me at my back door. I checked around to see where I could go to and chose this location. From the moment I called, they were nothing but kind, understanding, and professional. The vet examined the little kitty I named Scooter and determined it was his time to make his trip to the Rainbow Bridge. They explained everything to me, and let me sit with him as he started his journey. He was so ill, it took only seconds after the injection for him to be on his way. The staff expressed their sympathy when I was leaving. Except for the fact I was there to put one of God's creatures to his final rest, it was a positive experience.
