DO NOT BUY FROM CALIFORNIA MOTORS! They do not inspect their vehicles properly when they receive them. When purchasing my truck at California motors, a message appeared on the trucks dashboard saying “low oil pressure, turn off immediately”. The owner swore that it was the sending unit, and that he would replace it for me before I took it home and offered me a 60 day warranty through them. They also promised that if it wasn’t the sending unit they would fix whatever the issue was. Two days later the owner drove the truck to my house and dropped it off (I was at work for the drop off). When I got home from work, I decided to take the truck for a drive to see if the oil pressure was fixed. Within driving the truck for a few minutes, the check engine light went off and the oil pressure gauge was sitting just above 0. I paid $300 to take the truck to Chevy for a full diagnostic report and get the truck inspected. It came back that the oil pump was bad and prior to delivering the truck the check engine light was turned off by the owner. It also showed my oil cooler lines were bad, there is a oil leak, the front passenger cv boot is busted, the shocks and struts are blown, and the front/back brakes need to be replaced. For the last 5 days I have been calling and requesting for the owner, every time Harvey answers the phone and tells me “He’s not in the office. I’ll have him call you.” This company if filled with nothing but fraudulent crooks and scum bags. They are dishonest in every aspect of their business and I will never refer anyone here.

These guys were great. I came from far away the got me approved and out the door fast they lowered the price for me got me done even with my not so good credit. Alex helped us well and answered all our question.
