“If you're planning to come here. Well, good choice. This school has a great education system. (depending on the teacher and how you learn). Some teachers here can be pretty mean at times. But don't push them! You'll regret it. I'm an eighth-grade student attending here. What I've seen is shocking. What I mean by shocking is, random stuff happening here that isn't supposed to happen. The life of an eighth-grader is stressful and relaxing. Let me give you some tips coming here. 1. Be a good student, because being a good student may reflect your reputation. 2. At least try to get good grades, if you want to play sports in high school, you need to have a 1.5 GPA to play sports. 3. Don't get into fights, getting into a fight will have great consequences, you could get a suspension and a parent call. 4. Make sure you're always on time, don't do the homework at the last second, it takes time to learn. Walking in the halls are crowded, it's like NYC. One more thing, be careful what you say. One thing could spread a rumor.”

“I'm a recent alumni of Tokay High, class of 2012, and I have to say that, as someone who spent more time observing the workings of the school rather than being engrossed in it's drama, it's a good school. The staff that work the offices of the administration building are overall helpful and nice, however the main office staff are rather rude...but with all the very, well, stupid kids and parents that they have to deal with, I don't blame them for having short tempers. All the teachers that I had for my four years there were all very dedicated to their job. The language department offers Japanese, French and Spanish. There are really some great teachers there, and I would highly recommend this school to searching parents. Track, cross country and water polo are a few of the top athletics activities at Tokay. The drama department is fairly decent. The music department, which I was part off, has been going through changes recently, but the current band director is really doing a great job at trying to get the band a top program. Overall, this is a good high school. It's clean, pretty, and has a great pool!”

“My daughter went to a Montessori school in Tracy and she was visibly unhappy to friends and family. She refused to talk about school and would become frustrated by our questions. It was my first time seeing Montessori and I was questioning the way some things were done as they were counter to what I researched. From the first moment I walked into Stanford Montessori it was everything I had read about and more. We came in for a visit and my daughter didnt want to leave! Its been almost a year and she loves to tell us about her day, her jobs, her friends and her teachers. The staff is incredible and caring and experienced. Dont be fooled by the location!!! Its what is going on inside that counts ”

“I’ve had both of my children with new horizon since they were able to enroll. I have had nothing but great experience with new Horizon Academy. Their curriculum is second to none, And the staff are always friendly. Katie and Tarah do a phenomenal job in my opinion as well as all of the other staff at Elk River. I can understand the difficulties they may have with so many different personalities and energy levels in the room but I believe they handle it in a professional manner. “We enrolled our 3ys old son in Little Wonder Preschool. The school has a good play area that allows different types of gatherings and activities. Their program includes many fun seasonal art, craft, and performances. Ms. Anita takes good care of him and communicates with me regularly on the progress of my son’s adjustment and improvement. She worked with me to help potty trained my son, and to correct his misdemeanors. Throughout these past 4 months, Ms.Anita is very caring, patient, and attentive, while teaching my son good manners, behaviors and attitudes, along with academic knowledge. In addition, Ms. Anita does assessments to see if my son was on the right track in every aspect and discussed with me to see if there was anything we could help him to do better. I am very pleased to see my son’s growth and joy at Little Wonder preschool within a short period of time and my son also loves to go to school every day with so much of excitement. I would really appreciate Ms. Anita for putting her great efforts.”
