(January 2, 2019, 7:01 pm)Easy hikes right along the ocean, great views on clear days, convenient but limited parking near the trailhead, and a few picnic tables and a fire pit in the parking area.
(December 27, 2018, 2:00 am)What an amazing find and a place to go for a walk/mini hike with your dog! Our girl loved the explorations at Mussel Rock and we also found a little sheltered cove where she could have her very first introduction to the ocean which loved. Very few people around, peace and quiet and the ocean. Beautiful scenery around. A very relaxing place so close to San Francisco. A small free car park is available.
(December 13, 2018, 4:45 pm)Some of the best coastal views you will find anywhere. Great for dog walking, but be aware of coyotes. Often you will see paragliders here.
(December 7, 2018, 6:42 pm)Absolutely gorgeous!! The views were breathtaking and I've never felt closer to my Heavenly Father as I did here to absorb all of nature and love this area has. Will be going back daily just to take it all in again.
(November 20, 2018, 6:23 am)I spent the afternoon unexpectedly whale watching here. We came and sat at the top of the hill and watched a whale jump out of the water for about an hour. It was the best whale watching I've stumbled into! We then hiked the trails. They are rather steep and not the most scenic but the ocean view makes up for it!
