(September 6, 2021, 6:25 pm)Nice little Park on the water. Few picnic areas to occupy if you're wanting to spend significant time at the park. Some picnic area are also covered which is nice on those high UAV days. There's also some walking paths in the area as well that range from paved walkways to boardwalk and dirt/ gravel.
Only negative thing about Cooley Landing Park is having to GET to it. The main roadway is dirt/rock/deep potholes so driving in extra slowly is the move.

(August 26, 2021, 11:20 pm)We kayaked from redwood city to here.. Launching and docking a kayak here is technically doable but its an ordeal. They haven't dredged the area in a long time so there is a lot of mud. Look up the winds and tides ahead of time.
