(February 1, 2019, 11:21 am)Parking is free, but the lot is small so get there early. Nice path leading around the point to the jetty and the open ocean. The beach juts against cliffs, so check the tide calendar before you go. Go at low tide and check out the great tide pools. Leashed dogs allowed, but people generally ignore the rule.

(August 13, 2018, 2:25 pm)Close, easy, access. Easily seen, and a Short walk from the highway. Usually overcast clouds. Water's cold. This is where local beginners learn to surf. Gentle waves. But when the weather changes some pretty big waves can be ridden.

(June 24, 2018, 6:45 pm)The parking lot is a bit far away, but it's a nice walk and the beach is very clean. The beach area was very nice, and parking wasn't a problem.
