Nice, relaxing trail with good views! Good quick trail thats good for kids and dog walking. Definitely recommend!

Old farmland turned state park. Not really on many maps, and not well known. Great for birders, horses, and a casual stroll on a wide trail

Never put this place on the end of any itinerary, otherwise you might miss and have to come visiting again, like I had to do. This is actually a very old ranch, or farmhouse, and the patriarch or the family donated to California state park department. Liked the dried trails by which a lot flowers would make your way more beautiful. Also, there i s another small field just by the freeway on the way to this place where you will always meet some deers, so drive carefully. People told me you can spend an entire day hiking, or strolling here, but I am yet to do the same.

We took a random road to find a spot to eat out lunch, and found this little park nestled in the hills. Plenty of parking, there are three picnic area that we saw. One table at the entrance, one part way up the trail near a porta potty, and a couple tables near the old barn. Nice trail with relatively easy grade. Lots of bunnies and quail, interesting foliage. Glad we found this little treasure!

Such beautiful natural trail just how nature should be preserved. Lots of flowers and butterflies.
