(August 21, 2018, 7:21 pm)Easy convenient place to rent kayak s , paddleboards. Wear shorts or change into wet suits as your feet to knees will get wet. Included are wet suits and life vests. Feet wash station. Shoe and key storage. Pelicans seals and lots of birds in the protected bay. Fun time for all ages!!

Really good for even beginner kayakers, but you can get pretty adventurous if you want it to be. They'll give you a 5-10 minute instructional session on how to navigate the harbor, how to paddle, and I even saw them help you get into your kayak if you haven't before (I saw the staff help a couple of older folks into their boats yesterday)
Only reason they have 5 stars is because I can't give them 6. -

(July 23, 2018, 10:50 pm)Really fun place! It’s a big area that you can kayak around. Another cool thing about Half Moon Bay is that you can get really close to the sea otters and sea lions without harming them. It’s $25 for an hour and then $5 for additional 10 min I think. Super affordable.

The people are really friendly and they provide all the equipment you need including paddle jackets the kayaks are in really good shape top-notch with battles in good condition everyone works hard to keep the equipment clean.
Launch the kayak you walk out into the sand into a nice launching area, and then you get in the boat.
We went in a 2 person kayak and went out a bit. We saw Sea lions and pelicans everywhere.
This was an awesome experience and I'd recommend it to anyone in the area.
They give you full instructions so you know what to do.
