Flying Fish & Grill

Friday afternoon lunch, perfect weather & great food. We ordered the Fish and chips (the best I have had in a long time). The batter was very light and it was fried perfectly. The chips (French fries) were wonderful too! Also, ordered clam chowder, it was delicious. Very creamy, a hint of cheese flavor, lots of clams, perfect amount of potatoes. We tried a unique drink called Bird of Paradise, makes you feel like you are on vacation. Highly recommend it. The only item I would have passed on was the cheesy bread.

Our first meal in Half Moon Bay and it was a good one. Dropped by for lunch and even though it was pretty busy we got seated pretty quick.

Loved the Calamari, it was super fresh. The crab cakes were amazing and the tacos were awesome. There were so many good things on the menu. Would love to come back and try them out.

The best fish and chips & tacos! The fish and chips have a wonderful flaky, not heavy, batter. The chips are crispy and perfect. We all enjoyed the tacos, commenting that they were like a burrito in size. Everything was prepared fresh and we left feeling full and happy! Wonderful and kind service. If you’re in the Half Moon Bay Area, this is a must stop!!

Sat outside on their heated patio with my dog. They brought out a water bowl, treat, and three item dog menu for him! The human menu is extensive with tacos, seafood pasta, fish and chips, and burgers. The kid menu is also very clever. Food tastes great and tacos come with a large quantity of rice and beans. Staff was incredibly nice and attentive. 🌮

My husband and I came on a Sunday night for dinner and we absolutely loved this place.

The service was beyond friendly! I can honestly say I've never been to a restaurant with more attentive and efficient staff. The food was delicious and well worth the cost.

I definitely recommend visiting this charming restaurant for a bite!
