Nobody who actually had a child at Little Ages would give a negative review. That review is obviously fake and I've petitioned Google to take it down. In the meantime, here's an actual review of Little Ages from a dad with a son who has been there from ages 5 months to ~2 years:

This is a small, in-home daycare. Lisa is the owner/full-time teacher; Mari is a part-time teacher, and Marley is the dog. All three are amazing. Lisa's house is small, but packed with fun. Her backyard is almost staggeringly big for the Bay Area, and also super fun-packed.

I pick up my son every day, and each time I walk in the door, I see him enjoying himself, learning new things, having healthy snacks, doing art projects, and playing with his small friends. He's often sad to leave he's having so much fun. I think it's just the right blend of semi-structure and free play. Some activities I've seen Lisa and Mari doing with the kids are: reading books, vocabulary flash cards, scarf dancing (as fun as it sounds), singing songs, building trains, doing gymnastics, flashlight treasure hunts (even MORE fun than it sounds), and I'm sure there are a million things I'm forgetting. She takes them to gymnastics at a rec. center just down the street. I think she said she was going to start teaching them yoga, and let me tell you, the mental picture of four two-year-olds doing yoga is almost more adorableness than I can take. They also get plenty of outdoor time in the amazing backyard, running around with each other and Marley (a VERY GOOD dog), playing ball, climbing, riding trikes, etc. There's never any screen time for the little kids.

Of the things my son has learned how to do in his 22 months of life, the breakdown of how he learned those things is: 1% from his parents, 5% accidental discovery, 4% primal instinct, and 90% from Lisa. Occasionally, we'll notice something like, "oh, hey, when did he learn to use a spoon?" or "did he just say 'thank you?'" And the next day at pickup, I'll ask and she'll say, "oh, we've been practicing with spoons," or "we are learning good manners the last few days" or "we've been working on colors," or "he's really learning a lot of words this week." Everything he knows how to do, Lisa taught him. People say you need a village to raise a kid; I don't know, I think you really only need Lisa.

You want your kid to go here. Lisa is extraordinarily competent. The kids love her and she loves them. It's amazing to drop your kid off to daycare knowing that he's going to be happy and stimulated and genuinely loved.

We sent our now 4 year old to Little Ages for two years and our 2 year old has been with Lisa her entire life. Our kids love her and so do we. She is the sweetest and kindest child care provider we could have ever asked for. Lisa is a great early childhood development teacher as well. Our youngest was using baby sign language before 9 months thanks to Lisa. Little Ages is full of great toys, creativity, love and is a wonderful safe environment for the kids. I can’t recommend Little Ages enough - Lisa is part of our family!
