The art is an ancient Korean Martial Art combining both the hard (Karate) and the soft (Jujitsu/Judo). Instead of a gym, try this and you won't regret it, might someday use it to defend yourself. KUK SOOL!

(January 31, 2014, 4:28 pm)The instructors have a lot of muscles. And that is cool. And if you have ever held pads for these guys omg I can't even imagine getting kick in the head with a spin kick like that, that is the strongest kick I have ever felt and I have done Muay Thai for 6 years. Literally torn the target out of my hand, destroyed the thing. Good thing they have lots of physical and mental control, I have never gotten injured or hurt training with Instructor Bryn. I can't beat him in sparring, but I go home with not a scratch of injury on my body and that is very important.
They gave me a good workout that's for sure.
Kuk Sool Won is a well rounded system. More importantly the Association is closely held and well managed. The culture is friendly and non-competitive (doesn't mean we don't compete). I can literally walk into another Kuk Sool Won school filled with strangers and still feel just like home. I value that. -

He challenges you to be your best and doesn't let you give up. He motivates kids by leading by example and never lets them off easy. He knows how to teach everything from the importance of the most basic moves to the technical aspects of complicated skills. Couldn't ask for more!
