  Beautiful view and Amazing hiking trails all give this spot along the coast one of my biggest votes as a must stop location to take in The sights and sounds of the breathtaking ocean.

  The trail I specifically took was from gray whale cove down to montara mountain top. Spectacular views. Easy trails. It is along the one so expect road noise. If you can deal with that detractor the views are well worth it.

  A great free state park to go hiking. The views on a clear day are incredible and the altitude change as you ascend the hills along the coast reward you with amazing views of the California coast line the higher you go. Hiking or biking allowed and even dogs allowed on the trails.

  Really nice views, slow inclines not too killer but gives you a workout. You can easily do a shorter walk or walk for many hours depending on what you are up for. Parking is a problem though, often--we may have to drive on by when the 5 or so spaces are already taken.
