Small but nice. The actual reserve is great!
Great tide pools. This is a marine preserve! Be respectful of the marine life. Don't be that a**hole that is walking and stepping wherever they see fit without a care and allowing their kids to do the same. While in the process, destroying the marine habitat.
Small but beautiful park! You can see seals catching some rays.
Absolutely fabulous coastal views and pathways! Great for a weekend jog or stroll. In the springtime the flowering succulents overrun the rolling hills and cliffs- making it feel like you're walking in a mountain of flowers.
I found directions to the dirt parking lot next to the tiny airport- unsure of what I'd find- I trekked to the top of the foothill and walked towards the cliff face and was just blown away by the views.
Definitely recommend for a sunny afternoon!
I absolutely love taking my neice to the tide pools but there are so many people that just stand around and chat with other groups of people and then there is no place to step while waking out on the reef. Not to mention they are not paying attention to the kids who are being destructive to the wildlife. Other than that its a great place to go to just get out for the day.
