I was completely blown away by the service and professionalism that Houston provided.
Over the last few years, I had reluctantly accepted that it's easier and cheaper to just by a new piece of equipment instead of tracking down a professional repair person. The idea of more plastic and metal in a landfill was even more bothersome than the hassle of scheduling large item pickup combined with the expense of buying new. Not to mention the associated chore of breaking down yet another box that seems to be a part time job these days.
Just having someone pickup and drop off a wood chipper that is repaired and ready for use, is worth the cost of a new one just to avoid the hassle. Add to that that it costs much, much less and keeps it out of landfill makes it a no brainier..
Don't chuck it, have Houston fix it! Space Age is the best. I'm so glad to have such a valuable local resource and cannot recommend highly enough. Don't let the name fool you, he fixes electric motorized equipment as well. Thanks Houston!
