Beautiful ambiance with pastel colors and flowers on walls. Quick stop during a trip to sfo airport and got to try their mochi creme Brule.
Tasted yum and loved the mochi part in the bottom. Will be back to try the rest of the cream puffs.
Finally got a chance to come here to grab a puff. Super creamy and not too sweet. My favorite is their Oreo sea salt cream puff. Sea salt cream is smooth, salty, and creamy. So good! If you look for something simple, the hojicha flavor is the best choice. Rich Japanese hojicha cream inside and crisp puff outside.
5 stars for original puff with hojicha filling. It’s creamy, not too sweet, and strong tea flavored.
The specialty puff (I ate the sea salt Oreo) is average. The puff itself is delicious but the sea salt cream and the orea does not make it better. They just tasted separated.
We stumbled upon this French dessert shop, and it was a really pleasant find. The story is newly decorated with pastel floral and artificial greenery with a big mural of a scene of Paris. Enjoying the cream puffs there makes us feel like we are there. And the various flavors of cream puffs are super delicious. You got to at least give it a try.
This is a new cream puff place. I'm a Beard Papa regular so I'll compare this place with Beard Papa as I assume regular would've already tried Beard Papa. The crust is slightly thicker than that of Beard Papa due to the extra breading and feels more crusty when you bite into it. Depends on how long you waited after you bought it, it'll be much harder to bite into. I personally prefer the crust of Beard Papa more but I can see some would prefer this. The green tea flavor is much stronger too so that may be a good thing if you prefer a darker/creamier cream. I do enjoy the Hojicha flavor which is not available in Beard Papa.
I also tried the mochi cube and it's really just a thicker toast breading with cream inside so I wouldn't call it mochi at all. It might have a tiny bit of chewiness to the cream but I totally wouldn't call it mochi.
Overall it's not bad and a good place to get but not my favorite yet.
