So Peaceful 🙏
I bet most people know this park is here. It's not big on amenities, but is bigger than it appears from street level. There's a handful of picnic tables, a grill, child's playground, and restrooms. A great place for a semi-small function.
Quiet place but playground is kind of lacking fun factor.
Small park that is typically quiet. Its a great place to bring your kids without many people around
Great park for younger children to run and explore. Lots of shade for sunny days, two play structures accommodating both toddlers and younger children each, and washroom facilities within easy reach make for an especially good park for young families. Limited flat grassy area however is a slight minus if you want to play field games, as is limited dedicated parking and walking accessibility (the park is at the edge of a hilly part of San Mateo) - A small spring-fed stream running through the park adds charm, but can also lead to mud, messes, and worse: child attentiveness is a must for parents bringing kids here. Note that the setting is good for picnics (reasonable number of benches for the size of park), and that there is a watering station for dogs.
