“As a Kaiser patient I was diagnosed with ptosis, and surgery was recommended. Because I was considering eye surgery, I wanted to have my under eye bags treated at the same time, they have bothered me since childhood. I consulted with several of Kaisers oculoplastic surgeons and reviewed before and after photos. If I were to have chosen Kaiser for my needs, I would have to have had two separate surgeries (outside of Kaiser it would mean only one surgery). I asked one of the surgeons whom they would recommend and was given the name of Dr. Newman. In addition to Dr. Newman, I also consulted with renowned surgeons in San Francisco and the East Bay. Dr. Newman had by far the most impressive, in volume and results, catalogue of before and after photos. Dr. Newman performed my surgery and I could not be more pleased with the results. Both my mom and sister said I look great, that surgery was not even noticeable; the results were so natural. They both said I just "look great and refreshed". Dr. Newman is a master and a gifted surgeon. His staff could not be more pleasant and attentive. His nurse and office manager are both exceptional and made me feel very comfortable and quickly attended to all of my questions and needs. My recovery was easy and I would highly recommend Dr. Newman. On a side note, I have worked in the medical industry for two decades, which made my very dedicated to finding "the right" surgeon for me. I even reached out to one of the sales representatives who works with dozens of plastic surgeons in California (including Dr. Newman) to vet Dr. Newman. I am so happy I took the time to do my research!”
