“There are two SNF in Pacifica, I have experience with parents in both. Pacifica nursing and rehab is a more modern looking facility across the street from the ocean. Linda Mar is a more dated facility in Linda Mar. What I have figured out is that appearances really mean nothing! The staff at both are just fine, there are not a lot of nurses on staff,so it is the CNA's that your parents will interface with. Look at how they treat patients when you tour the facility. Linda Mar CNA's and PT seems to have a good attitude with patients. Linda Mar was in my opinion heads and shoulder above Pacifica nursing and rehab for the simple reason that there is an outdoor courtyard that is easily accessible for the patients to sit in the sun, visit or just get out of their rooms. There really is no place in Pacifica nursing and rehab for the patient to sit outdoors in the sun. The one place they have is in the shadows pretty much all day and not used a lot. Unless your parent gets one of a few view rooms, having the ocean across the street will be pretty meaningless other than it is always windy. For my parents, being able to get outside was a huge spirit lifter, and it's importance was far above what I had anticipated.”

“The staff at Shoreview are incredible. They are very detail oriented and make you feel welcome from the minute you walk through the door. They take excellent care of their patients and actually make you feel listened to. It starts up front with Yan and the other front desk associates who always have a smile on their faces and are always on top of making sure the appointment-handling and billing is taken care of. They also have gone above and beyond to make sure my Insurance provider is covering everything they should. The dental staff is impressive as well. Very knowledgeable, professional, and efficient in how they execute their responsibilities. I had a long hiatus between dental visits (almost 10 years!) due to bad experiences at my previous dentists office. Shoreview has completely changed my opinion of going to the dentist, and it’s quite refreshing to feel like your dentist actually cares about you. I would give 10 stars if I could!!!”

My 5 yo stepdaughter is learning values, respect and focus! While we work to teach her these principals at home, Mr. Johnson integrates these valuable lessons with karate and makes learning fun!
