“I played a bit of hotel roulette when I booked this trip, and I was NOT disappointed. The rooms at this hotel are very clean and up to date. The surrounding area is VERY quiet except for the train, but you can barely hear it inside. The caltrain station is a short walk from the hotel. There is a small parking lot out front, parking along the back and some underground parking as well. My pet sitter canceled on me so I had to walk my dog a few times a day and had no issues walking her around at night, and the hotel even has a small dog spot on the property with little baggies and everything. One of the best residence inn breakfasts I've seen: scrambled & boiled eggs, meats, yogurt, fresh chopped fruit, toppings, oats, cereals, assorted breads, waffles, coffee, and juices.”

Their brochure describes the services they provide, & she did them all. After a few days, she knew what & when to do most everything, including what I liked for lunch. Should I need a caregiver in the future, First Light will be the company I call. They offer a complimentary consultation. Plus, the first day the caregiver arrives, one of their management personnel also arrives to introduce the parties. Great service.”

“Highly recommended! I've been looking for a reliable permanent vet who I liked and trusted, and I found that I made the perfect decision when I brought my 4 year old cat in to see Dr. Sohi. My cat had been throwing up his food every now and then for a while and I'd put off a vet visit long enough because he always ate again and kept it down afterward, but I figured it was time to get to the bottom of it. The doctor was very thorough in his exam and the staff was very polite and welcoming. The doctor let me know exactly what could be going on with my boy and filled me in on any possible next steps depending on some test results. We went home with a hypoallergenic diet and some medications to help out his vomiting problem. The problem has decreased to nearly nothing at all, will be back for a follow up soon. I am so glad I trusted my boy with City Pet Hospital. I will be bringing all of my pets here, where I can be sure they'll always receive the best treatment and care. I also felt the prices were very reasonable, the doctor and staff made sure I understood everything in my cat's treatment plan and why it was recommended. In terms of the bill, I've certainly paid much more for much less at other pet clinics! I'll definitely be recommending City Pet Hospital to my friends and family, great place.”

“Nancy Petty is the best hand therapist I've had and she completely changed my life for the better by helping me recover from my wrist/arm repetitive stress injuries. For context, I'm a tech professional that has battled with RSIs for many years due to the overuse of keyboard, mouse, phone, etc. In the past, I've been limited with my work due to these injuries and it was one of the most challenging periods in my life. Going to Peninsula Hand Therapy with Nancy was the most important decision I ever made in finding the ideal hand therapy professional to help me recover, manage, and change my life for the better. There are many things she does very well, but I want to share a few highlights for me that were the difference maker: 1. The right balance of tough vs empathetic. She completely understood my reasons and desires to grow my professional career. However, she also recognized the pain/suffering it was causing my physical health. She pushed me when I needed it, but also helped me instill a sense of self-discipline when I was lacking in my habits/routines. 2. Understanding of holistic health (physical, mental, emotional). This is more of personal opinion, but she really cared for me like a true friend and not just a checklist of someone on her therapy patient list. During our therapy sessions, we were able to discuss ways to improve all aspects of my health and it wasn't just limited to the standard massages/treatments. It was truly a holistic care experience. 3. Last but not least, her hand therapy knowledge/expertise is world-class. From my perspective and research, Nancy knows her field extremely well and though this is expected from any 5-star health professional, I wanted to make sure other reviewers understand that Nancy delivers on this front beyond regular expectations. She was able to diagnose underlying issues that other doctors/therapists did not recognize and that allowed for a more appropriate treatment plan. And this was one of the many things she did to help me heal. Overall, I'd like to say that Nancy checks all the marks of an ideal hand therapist and more. I highly recommend anyone suffering from hand injuries to visit Nancy and give a session a try. It certainly made all the difference in my life and helped me come back from the lowest point where I thought I'd never be able to use my hands/wrists/arms the same ever again.
