“OLM is a hidden gem, a rare find in the area with its unique quality that are almost impossible to replicate. My kid is having a great time here and has been showing tremendous growth that exceeds our expectation. OLM is essentially the family based care opened by the director and the teacher formerly in All Are Friends (AAF), who has been forced out in its unfortunate and unsuccessful turnaround last year. This means OLM has a teacher/student ratio of 1:6, where both of the teachers are Montessori certified - a bar almost unattainable in almost all schools that I know. Ms Rita and Ms Chapna are very experienced and capable teachers, and they are with the kids everyday, know every single one of them so well, and love them to an extent that influences even the parents to actively contribute to the community. If you think teachers are the most important aspect of a school like I do, this is the right place for you.”

“Sharmila Montessori is a hidden gem! Our son is now in the spring of his second year attending this school and we could not be happier with the experience he's had and the progress he has made. This small school is well organized and structured and Sharmila and her staff are all very caring and supportive. Sharmila is very skilled at creating clear expectations and boundaries for the children while maintaining a high level of respect and space for development of individual personalities. Her warm and caring energy sets the tone every day at drop off. We will be sad to say goodbye this summer when our son graduates. Fortunately he has made many friends while attending.”

“It's a cool school I guess. Also its a big school with over 1,000 students but the academy system makes it feel smaller. Sometimes the teachers aren't great though and they take your phone if you are on it during lunch.”

“We have really great experience with British Swimming School! We were at the Potrero Hill location first, due to our schedule, we decided to change to Burlingame location. Both of locations have really great instructors! I thought it’s better to have same instructors every time (they have different instructors for every class), but they do rotate 3 instructors so once she gets to know every instructors, she was so comfortable. It’s like she has 3 instructors to depend on. She started going to this school right after she turned 4. At the beginning, she hated to come back to swimming class because she was afraid of getting wet on her face. Amazingly, one of her teachers at Potrero Hill let her fear go away but instead provide her joy of being in water. After that, she is willing to go back to the swimming class every weekend. The burlingame location is amazing. Its locates at Embassy Hotel so it looks like castle outside for her. All instructors are so carrying and making her happy including administrators. After 1 month of going to the class, she was like “I love to be in water, I love coming back here, I love teachers!”. She gain the confidence. I can’t wait to see her growth in the swimming class going forward.”

“We are super happy with this school, and the attention and personal care of the team here. Having heard great things about this place, we decided to take our 2 year-old here even though she would be the youngest after having recently become Safari Kid under a new lead teacher. They have retained some fantastic teachers from the previous naming, and also acquired a great energetic lead teacher. All the teachers here genuinely care about the kids, and they love their job, and it shows. Our daughter acquired new skills and better control and discipline in just the first 2 weeks. They are doing a good mix of building skills on regular activities as well as doing new things to keep things exciting and challenging for the kids. There is also a very healthy balance of mingling with older kids a few times during the day, which we observe is beneficial for our child. In our second month, but so far, nothing less than great.”

I was hesitant at first but when Principal Wilkerson opened the school front door after hours to give me information and then spent 30 minutes talking to me about the school, I was eager to learn more. I must say eventho it's only been one week, I am very pleased. Every staff person I've encountered is cheerful pleasant and very helpful. Stay tuned for more.”
