  This is a great roadside restaurant on a country highway. Kind of rustic but good service and great food. Some special meats, buffalo and elk, and excellent home made pies. Also we had a beautiful drive through the mountains to get there.

  It was a lovely experience. Very homey vibe, all home made food. Will definitely be returning to this place really soon.

  Great little place on the 33. There's not too many places where one can get served by the owners. Cold beer, and great homemade pies. We can't wait to go back when they have live entertainment.

  In the middle of nowhere is this great diner with really good food, service and PIE!!! Terrific pie! The ride there through the Cuyumas Valley on RT33 or via Rt166 is another reason to get to The Place. Scenery along the way is wonderful, especially the mountains of the Los Padres park lands. No matter how you get there stop by The Place, especially for the pie!
